“Not reviewed” means this collection has not completed that research. It does not mean no record exists. A source snapshot can lag appointments, departures and case developments. Official rosters, FEC committee data, current and prior-year House filing indexes, and selected official publication pages are checked daily. Older filing archives are reused. The update bar shows the last successful run and any failed attempt. Case and impeachment summaries keep their own review dates and require separate source review. A daily check does not mean an agency published new data.
How are funding and trades represented?
Campaign receipts belong to committees, not personally to officeholders. Committee contributions and outside spending are different categories. Personal donations by employees are not company donations. This edition identifies committee funding where available; it does not include a complete individual-donor ledger or trace undisclosed upstream funding.
Financial filings are indexed as documents. A filing may contain multiple trades, an amendment or no transactions. Filings are not trade counts. Disclosed transaction ranges are not exact values or proven profits.
How are allegations and case outcomes handled?
Arrests, charges, allegations, investigations, findings, convictions and settlements are distinct. A lawsuit's allegations are not established facts. A settlement is not an admission unless the source says so. Entries include available denials, dismissals, appeals and outcomes. Routine lawsuits about government policy are not treated as personal misconduct.
Selected documented records are included for research, not a comparative measure of misconduct. The absence or number of entries should not be used to compare officials.
